Welcome

President's Greeting

Dear Colleagues,

Surena Namdari, MDIt is a tremendous honor to serve as the incoming President of the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society, an organization with a proud and enduring history of advancing musculoskeletal care and fostering a vibrant community of orthopaedic surgeons in our region. For decades, the Society has stood as a pillar of collegiality, collaboration, and excellence, bringing together physicians from across the city to share knowledge, build relationships, and support the next generation of orthopaedic leaders. Our commitment to resident education and inter-institutional cohesiveness remains a cornerstone of our mission, and it is more important now than ever.

I’m especially excited to share the outstanding program that Dr. Daniel Davis has curated for the upcoming year. With a thoughtful blend of academic depth and clinical relevance, this year’s sessions promise to inspire rich discussion and provide valuable learning opportunities for residents and attending surgeons alike. I look forward to a year filled with engagement, shared growth, and continued excellence in orthopaedics. Thank you for being a part of this remarkable community and I look forward to seeing you at the meetings!
